All A-buzz

Spending my last moments in the States for a while, spending them in the Pacific NW, spending them studying, contemplating, sleeping, relaxing, auntie time, being.

Life just flows, it goes without stop, moving forward & gladly, I am choosing to move with it.

I thought I was going to be teaching in Gwangju, but with a twist of Korea fate, I will be in Busan, where I had originally applied. Beach town, second largest city in the country, ferry ride to Japan, ferry ride to Jeju-do, 2 hour bus ride from Yeosu, 2 1/2 hour high speed train ride from Seoul, local extraordinaire.

I leave next week, February 18th & arrive on the 19th at Incheon airport near Seoul. From there I head to the orientation site where I'll be staying for a week before I am escorted to Busan, my new home for the next year.

Almost all of my to do list is complete, but have more work for school to finish before heading out. I always seem to be moving during busy school-time, but this time I have been able to get a bit ahead since I wasn't working for the first half of the semester. Diligence is going to be of the utmost importance. Waking early each weekday morning is going to be a challenge, but at least by the end of the year, I'll be used to it. I do enjoy the early moments of the day & rarely get to experience them, so looking at it positively as a chance to see the sun peek it's rays out & rise up.

My mind is calm, but also all a-buzz with my upcoming move. Asia, S. Korea, Busan...here I come!
